Welcome to AALU Baltimore-Metro Chapter!

Greetings Lincoln University Alumni,

It is with great pleasure and excitement that I come ready to serve as the President of the Alumni Association of Lincoln University, Baltimore Metro Chapter.  Thank you for entrusting me with this role.  I am honored to follow in the footsteps of past Presidents and vow (with your help) to keep our Chapter moving upward and forward to represent, support, and serve our beloved Lincoln University.

During my term, I will always stress the importance of transparency, open mindedness, and open channels of communication among alumni, administration, current, and prospective students. Success will be measured by the difference we make in our communities. We must make a concerted effort to support Lincoln University, National Alumni, local chapters and community sponsored events.  I encourage participation of fellow alumni through education and awareness of such community events.

Our current membership base is a very energetic, highly motivated, totally committed and devoutly dedicated group of alumni in the Baltimore Metro area.  I am extremely proud of my Baltimore Metro family!  In order to keep our chapter momentum going, our doors are open for more LU family.  My goal is to continue to expand the reach of this group in order to continually improve on alumni enrollment and engagement.  Together, we will strive for excellence, growth and enhancement of Lincoln’s reputation as we continue to elevate our HBCU.

Support, involvement and participation are some of the greatest ways to help grow the Lincoln community and to help show the younger generation how to sustain it.

By doing, we LEAD

By leading, we SHOW

By showing, we GROW.

There are many opportunities to participate, to render support and to give back to a community we love.  For example, there is our yearly Thurgood Marshall Scholarship and Awards Gala, regular Recruitment events, holiday donations to children in the community and fellowships with the chapter members at the Capital Jazz Festival. Although the current Covid-19 Pandemic has altered our normal ways of doing things, it has resulted in innovative ways to meet, greet, serve, and give back.  This (pandemic) too shall pass and we will weather it together.  While waiting, our work must continue!  We hope to see you at one of our events virtually or (prayerfully soon) physically.  We welcome your participation and look forward to your input and fresh ideas!

Through your willingness to join and be an active member of AALU Baltimore Metro Chapter, we can make a difference and give back to the “Dear Ol’ Orange and Blue”!

Hail Hail Lincoln,
